My truck was making an awful grinding noise. I’d first like to mention that if I was only rating for service, they would easily get the 5 stars. Jeremy, my service provider, made sure I could not only get home myself but also was able to help get my 1 year old from school using his own personal vehicle because mine was so unsafe. Unfortunately, they lost a whole 2 stars for price. They are easily the most expensive in Stillwater and more than double the price for where my dad goes in Tulsa (where it was towed to so I could save several thousand dollars). In general, if you are looking for a guarantee that they will do something to get you to school/work/home, this is the auto shop for you. They were the only shop that could guarantee that I could get my daughter before her daycare closed. The initial cost for evaluating the vehicle alone is $130, where the second most expensive I called was about $50-$80 and the cheapest being $20. When told what some of the other mechanics offered, they were unable to match or even get anywhere near their quote. Overall, service is a 5 but price is a 1, so I averaged them out and put 3.
Hey Taylor! Thanks for providing us some feedback. I love hearing ways we excel and ways we can improve. I had a chance to review your information from your latest visit. I’m proud of the way my staff (Jeremy) handled the situation, as you felt you might have a safety concern, he made room for you to be inspected same day even though we were booked for the week. He also personally picked you your daughter up in his personal vehicle when your vehicle was deemed unsafe. I will always commend my staff for going above & beyond in these situations. As for the quote being higher, due to the fact the vehicle was driven past the point of the initial failure, further damage was done beyond the wheel bearing failure. This caused extensive damage to the brake system as well. We provided photos to you from our thorough inspection outlining the extent of the collateral damage. This I’m sure has a major part in our repair being higher than others simply quoting wheel bearings sight unseen. We will always strive to place the highest emphasis on customer service & safety, by never sacrificing your trust in us by providing an inadequate repair.
